Suhas Uppalapati

Managing Partner, Provest Equity

Suhas is a seasoned entrepreneur and growth architect with a rare blend of operator experience and investment acumen. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Provest Equity, Suhas brings a distinct edge to private equity—one forged through the trenches of building, scaling, and successfully exiting multiple high-growth ventures.

Over the past two decades, Suhas has founded and led five companies to successful exits, each delivering substantial value to stakeholders. He has orchestrated and integrated 15 strategic acquisitions, resulting in exponential revenue growth, market expansion, and significant return multiples. His most recent exit was AmeriPro Health, which he built to 1,200+ employees providing services across multiple states from Florida to Nebraska. His ability to identify underutilized potential and unlock value has made him a trusted partner to founders and investors alike.

Unlike traditional private equity managers, Suhas operates with the mindset of a founder. His operator-first background gives him a deep understanding of what it truly takes to scale a business—team building, product strategy, go-to-market execution, and operational discipline. At Provest Equity, he partners with exceptional founders to accelerate growth, enhance operational efficiency, and build enduring companies with lasting impact.

Suhas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Computer Science from George Mason University, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Outside of work, Suhas is a proud family man. His wife is a physician leading a large oncology practice. Their elder daughter is a Wharton graduate currently working in investment banking in New York, and their younger daughter is soon to graduate from Duke University, also heading into investment banking in New York.
